The Prime Minister said in a statement Tuesday before leaving for Singapore, “My involvement in these meetings is a symbol of our constant determination to strengthen relations with countries of ASEAN and the countries of the broad Indo-Pacific region. I am hopeful of talks with the leaders of ASEAN and East Asia.
“The meeting is scheduled to take place 12.30 pm local Singapore time, during which the two leaders are expected to discuss bilateral defence cooperation and a common vision for maintaining a free and open Indo-Pacific, the White House said.
